DJANGO IS NOW CLOSED.

It is time for Django to say “adieu” - after nearly 18 years, our final day of service was Saturday, March 14.

This was a difficult decision. Django has been a part of our community’s culinary landscape for the better part of two decades both during our early days in the Hotel Fort Des Moines and over the last eight years overlooking the Pappajohn Sculpture park. We’ve had the honor of being the backdrop to so many wonderful memories, from engagements and birthday celebrations to everyday occasions like workday happy hours and weeknight dinners. However, today’s unique combination of market and economic conditions have created significant headwinds, and the time is right to conclude Django’s story.
