16. “Quinquina Bourin” Print
Framed “Quinquina Bourin” print. Bellenger, 1936. Linen-backed French Art Deco stone lithograph advertisement for a quinine-based apertif wine. The image is famously double-sided in its concept: one orientation shows the drink enjoyed as an apertif and the other as a digestif with the slogan “Donne la Force / Force l’Appertif” (“Gives strength / Boosts the appetite”). Large format.
Approx. 58”w x 86”h (framed) / 51”w x 79”h (unframed).
